We purchase our caravans from one broker who personally checks and selects all caravans on behalf of UK Caravanz Direct. He has over 30 years experience in the UK caravan industry and has extensive contacts with the retail dealer, parts and supply network and the caravan manufacturers. Quality Checks and NZ Compliance

As part of the general selection process caravans undergo a comprehensive quality inspection covering the chassis, working gear, water tightness, gas and electrical systems, all appliances, toilet system and lighting.

All caravans are shipped in 40 foot containers which gives the caravan maximum protection from damage during the sea voyage. All caravans are shipped to our concept store where the caravan is extensively re-checked and prepared prior to be being delivered to your door.

All our UK caravans receive NZ compliance certificates including a current warrant of fitness, and electrical warrant of fitness. All power points are converted in NZ to New Zealand Standards.

Parts and Labour Warranty

Given the size if the UK Caravan markets parts are readily available for the most commonly used components. Many of the brands used, such as "Thetford" and "Truma" are recognised as the industry standard and used extensively within the caravan industry. Should something go wrong parts can be easily sourced and repair arranged through UK Caravanz Direct.

The great thing about buying a UK Caravan is that they are very reliable, there is very little that can go wrong. If something should happen we offer an extensive backup.

Each caravan purchased through UK Caravanz Direct comes with a 12 month parts and labour warranty covering the following specific components:

  • Braking systems - all mechanical linkage, backing plates, actuators, drums and shoes
  • Chassis - all chassis members, including outriggers
  • Running Gear - axles, hub bearings, hub oil seals (excluding tyres and tubes)
  • Suspension - springs, hangers, shackle pins, bushes, shock absorbers and moulding
  • Towing mechanism - all mechanical components fitted to caravans (excluding electrics)
  • Auxiliary electrics - main hook up input connector, battery charger and distribution units, interior lighting units (excluding bulbs and wiring)
  • Cassette toilet - (excluding seats, valves and glands)
  • Cooker - burners, grill, oven and flame failure device and igniter
  • Fridge - door seal, condenser, gas control valve, gas thermostat, 240v thermostat, 240v temperature control switch
  • Water System - water heater (gas or electric), fresh water tank (if installed), waste water tank (if installed), water pump, water gauges (if installed)
  • Original plumbing

Some exclusions apply. A full copy of the warranty is included in the Terms Of Trade which can be supplied on request and forms part of the purchase contract.
